The most modest JAV DVD cover I could find

Japan Adult Video (JAV) is the general term for adult videos. Known for it's creativity and franky barrenness. JAV is has some unique genres that haven't caught on overseas. There are hundreds if not thousands of JAV Stars. Some only make one or two videos others go on to make hundreds. Most are not well known. But the competition is fierce and often they will turn to doing fan events and photos shoot for extra money between shoots.

Here are some tips:

• Ask via (X/Twitter/Instagram) DM, I do have connections in that space. Once again, I stress these are often (but not always) not cheap. If the star has a million followers+ on say instagram, I mean it's possible, but you likely cannot afford it.
• there are many ex or former JAV here, as like its just another job, so expect to see lots of places that advertise it.
  • There are shops that either advertise former JAV stars or an JAV like experiance.
• There are some unique places that offer experiences with JAV, these are like photoshoots or walks in the park, or day dates with current stars. These are generally much cheaper

Studio Appsis a service (in Tokyo) that offers meetups with current popular JAV / social media / influencers / idols.There are two types of meetups, dating tests, which let you go outside the studio location for a defined period of time, and regular photo shoot meetups. Photo shoot meetups are basically held in apartment (1BR) that is rented for the purpose.

Each starlet / model / actress will get to choose what service that they are offering and for what price. You pay in advance and provide identity first.For the photo shoots on / in location, the actress generally offers a full nude option for photos to start and then potentially what you do on set is negotiable; this is very much YMMV. FS has not yet been on the table for when I've visited but more or less everything else was ok. I have not done a dating test outside of location though, simply no interest in any of the women offered at this time.

Now, it does give you an opportunity to chat with people directly in the JAV industry, and after a visit you can then request actresses from the operator and they will handle the heavy lifting of seeing if said actresses will do a meet and greet. They do have an email newsletter that you can sign up for, which will give you password to access private events and make reservations in advance.

They are foreigner friendly as long as you aren't a complete idiot. Be polite, don't ask stupid questions and they will help you out even if your Japanese is bad.Would I repeat? I've done it 2x and I'll try a dating test, but unless there is someone specific I need to see I'll probably pass.
