Osaka has some unique redlight districts. If you have been to Amsterdam, this may feel familiar. But here you can go window shopping, literally.

 • Shinodayama Shinchi :It’s much more compact but is cheaper than Tobita.
 • Imazato: One of the known three, this particular area offers a smaller range of providers, and a grasp of the Japanese language is preferred.
 • Takii Shinchi: The least known to my knowledge....generally reserved for locals. rarely will foreigners be able to enter unless fluent Japanese is spoken or if a local may vouch for you / translate. Provides extremely rare services, even by Japan's standards by DEFAULT and is the smallest of all Shinchi.

The map posted above www.fooco.net/tobita-map/ also has quite a bit of information and you can at the bottom search store criteria.

Individual stores will have a LINE usually and information is accessible there (only in Japanese and generally only for people with an age-verified Japanese phone number).
