Alright, here's an informal formatting of my reflection on my Delivery Health (aka DH, Deli Hel, etc.) experience in Tokyo Japan. I'll give suggestions/locations at the end of this narrative-like timeline post.

Learning Japanese and Foreigner Pricing
I thought I could learn enough Japanese to negotiate "local" prices with DH shops in the span of 2-3 months (starting since November 2025 to End of January 2026). That was naive and flat out foolish of me. Sure you can learn hiragana/katakana and some common "zero level" Japanese paired with this nifty dirty talking resource here BUT it is NOWHERE CLOSE to confidently convince a shop to offer pricing that locals would get.

I got gaijin pricing (or "Gaijin Tax"), somewhere in the ballpark of like 1.5 to 2 times more than the local price. Japan ain't cheap, it's a blue chip country, even with the "weak yen" most of that can be felt in food not so much in DH in my opinion.

Delivery to where??
The second major confusion I had, which looking back at this experience I guessss it could just me being stupid... but I had the misconception that "Hotel fee" that you'll see listed on sites like cityheaven and yaosobiheaven meant that the DH shop would select a Love Hotel they're partnered with AHEAD OF TIME!

THIS IS FALSE! And boy did it create so so SO MUCH stress for me. The DH shop through LINE has a policy to have their customers send them a message about 30 minutes before the customer's reservation time slot, allowing for the DH shop to coordinate with the girl's ETA. So how did I manage to find myself in this predicament if I thought they arranged a Love Hotel ahead of time due to the mistranslation + misconception of "Hotel fee" on their shop homepage?

The answer lies in when I had asked the shop for their recommended Love Hotels to stay nearby at. And when I chosen one they picked, I had mistakenly assumed that meant I just goto the hotel, be assigned a room [my inner thoughts at the time: maybe after some payment for said room or after the girl and I would be done with the room] and "wait for the fun to arrive". (editor note: image clubs or "fashion health" usually have a shop front, and yes a local rental room or LH they have partnered with and use for the sessions. Lovely Hand in Shinjuku works this way)

It was only when the DH shop asked me through LINE "what room number?" did I realize that I had to be the one to get to the Love Hotel first and get a room, with only 10 minutes left until my time reservation slot!!! Can you hear the stress I went through? I picked up the pace and hurriedly walked to the first Love Hotel that I picked out of the DH shop's recommendations.

I arrive, uncomfortably sweaty, pressured by time, and overwhelmed by the massive tablet screen in front of me to reserve a room, scrambling to get out Google Chrome Lens to translate the Japanese text! It just happened to be my luck that all rooms were booked...

Well fuck, I'm pretty sure I only had 2 minutes or already at time I don't really remember, I panic text the DH shop that this Love Hotel was full. Their suggestion was to find another one nearby, so I did just that to another they recommended, a 5 minute walk away.

I felt bad, felt like I'd done fucked up, the logistical nightmare of trying to find an available Love Hotel room nearby and already my reservation time slot was being eaten into, but I persevered and successfully got a hold of a room, using some DeepL to ask for an extra buffer hour on top of the original length of time I had reserved with the DH Shop (2 hours original + 1 buffer hour = 3 hours for LH room)

I get into the room and get comfortable trying to relax, the room was so warm and outside was so cold, the temperature extremes of Japan especially during this winter time of year are so real. I let the DH shop know what room number and even paste the Google Maps link of the LH since there were apparently many LHs with similar names and probably they wanted to double check.

I'll keep the rest of this pretty short. The girl I picked out showed up, collected the base shop fee for the time I had reserved for, and then... negotiations for extras between me and her. The general sequence of next events were a quick shower involving the basic body wash, with an emphasis of soaping up the dick, and then a promptly prepared cup of mouthwash gargling it and spitting it down on the shower floor drain, then off to outside to dry up with towels and have fun on the bed.

Q: WAS IT WORTH IT?

A: As an experience for a complete beginner to DH to figuring out first-hand how it all works? Sure its worth. The DH Girl was very cute, my type of girl, the ones you wouldn't find at the soaplands given I like petite.

Q: WORTH DOING AGAIN?

A: For most people, no. Don't. Just save yourself the headache. Go do soaplands where its much more beginner friendly, much more hand held and negotiations for extras with DH girl are not so back and forth with translator apps. It was definitely an expensive, new experience for me and I accepted this in hindsight lol.

# Get a full STD screening done prior to the trip, screenshot the results and/or save as PDFs whatever you fancy.
# When bringing up the topic of BBFS to negotiate price, mention that you have tested and can show proof.
# I strongly believe this is a YMMV but in my case I was able to get a price for that extra for showing this proof.

My "tip" for negotiating extra such as BBFS:
1. Get a full STD screening done prior to the trip, screenshot the results and/or save as PDFs whatever you fancy.
2. When bringing up the topic of BBFS to negotiate price, mention that you have tested and can show proof.
3. I strongly believe this is a YMMV but in my case I was able to get a price for that extra for showing this proof.

Alright, here's an informal formatting of my reflection on my Delivery Health (aka DH, Deli Hel, etc.) experience in Tokyo Japan. I'll give suggestions/locations at the end of this narrative-like timeline post.

Language Learning?
I thought I could learn enough Japanese to negotiate "local" prices with DH shops in the span of 2-3 months (starting since November 2025 to End of January 2026). That was naive and flat out foolish of me. Sure you can learn hiragana/katakana and some common "zero level" Japanese paired with this nifty dirty talking resource here BUT it is NOWHERE CLOSE to confidently convince a shop to offer pricing that locals would get.

3. I got gaijin pricing, somewhere in the ballpark of like 1.5 to 2 times more than the local price. Japan aint cheap, its a blue chip country, even with the "weak yen" most of that can be felt in food not so much in DH in my opinion.

4. Second major confusion I had, which looking back at this experience I guessss it could just me being stupid... but I had the misconception that "Hotel fee" that you'll see listed on sites like cityheaven and yaosobiheaven meant that the DH shop would select a Love Hotel they're partnered with AHEAD OF TIME!

I felt bad, felt like I'd done fucked up, the logistical nightmare of trying to find an available Love Hotel room nearby and already my reservation time slot was being eaten into, but I persevered and successfully got ahold of a room, using some Deep L to ask for an extra buffer hour ontop of the original length of time I had reserved with the DH Shop (2 hours original + 1 buffer hour = 3 hours for LH room)

11. I get into the room and get comfortable trying to relax, the room was so warm and outside was so cold, the temperature extremes of Japan especially during this winter time of year are so real. I let the DH shop know what room number and even paste the Google Maps link of the LH since there were apparently many LHs with similar names and probably since Im a gaijin they wanted to double check.

Okay, details, pricing.
2 hour shop fee: 78,000 yen
Extras rough estimation: 33,000 yen
3 hour Love Hotel room at BaliAn Glamping Shinjuku: 8,800 yen

Total Damage roughly: 119,800 yen (~781.51 USD)

First choice Love Hotel that had no more rooms available for me:
Pasha - https://maps.app.goo.gl/NMCQDZ88aBZXBQSF6

Second choice:
BaliAn Glamping Shinjuku - https://maps.app.goo.gl/AACuoM1h724KMeBk7

Q: WAS IT WORTH?
A: As an experience for a complete beginner to DH to figuring out first-hand how it all works? Sure its worth. The DH Girl was very cute, my type of girl, the ones you wouldn't find at the soaplands given I like petite.

Q: WORTH DOING AGAIN?
A: For most people, no. Don't. Just save yourself the headache. Go do soaplands where its much more beginner friendly, much more hand held and negotiations for extras with DH girl are not so back and forth with translator apps. It was definitely an expensive, new experience for me and I accepted this in hindsight lol.

1. I thought I could learn enough Japanese to negotiate "local" prices with DH shops in the span of 2-3 months (starting since November 2025 to End of January 2026).

2. That was naive and flat out foolish of me. Sure you can learn hiragana/katana and some common "zero level" japanese (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCGO6kbtfM4&t=3s&pp=ygUaemVybyBsZXZlbCBqYXBhbmVzZSBrYW5hbWU%3D) paired with this nifty dirty talking resource here https://blog.gaijinpot.com/how-to-talk-dirty-in-japanese/ BUT it is NOWHERE CLOSE to confidently convince a shop to offer pricing that locals would get.

8. I arrive, uncomfortably sweaty, pressured by time, and overwhelmed by the massive tablet screen in front of me to reserve a room, scrambling to get out Google Chrome Lens to translate the japanese text! It just happened to be my luck that all rooms were booked...

9. Well fuck, Im pretty sure I only had 2 minutes or already at time I don't really remember, I panick text the DH shop that this Love Hotel was full. Their suggestion was to find another one nearby, so I did just that to another they recommended, a 5 minute walk away.

Lovely Hand is a well known shop that specializes in hand jobs. It is located in in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. One of the more heavily visited "entertainment" districts in Japan. There are many many touts in the area which are to be avoided like the plague.

They have many options and are generally considered very foreigner friendly. These hand jobs focused shops generally have younger women sometimes still in High School (18). They do have more seasoned women available but one of the big draws is that and from their site you can see they are also schoolgirl themed. If their names appear strange its a translation issue where they choose the meaning of their names not the sound of the characters used in their name. Nobody in Japan is called THIS or MARKET.
<blockquote>
I went to lovely hand when I visited JP last year, it was enjoyable. I'll note that their standards with regards to "English proficiency" are pretty low - the girl I saw was marked as speaking English but I don't think she knew more than a handful of words. The main reason I went is because it's open really late (until like 5AM iirc) and was in a convenient spot for me - I had been drinking in Kabukicho and just wandered over.

I pretty much had to just mime things anyways. In terms of the experience, the girl was still very cute, and there were indeed multiple pops - I think three over the course of a lengthy session. It was my last night in Japan and I wanted something special to cap it off - I hadn't been able to do any sort of mongering before then and by the time I was free it was like 2 am and THC (Tokyo Hentai Club -sus) was closed

I was only tipsy but I wasn't alone in the hotel room so deriheru (delivery health -sus) was not viable for me. The booking experience was also completely painless: i was a walk-in, so I just went up to the desk, a nice young Japanese man showed me the pictures of who was available, recommending one (the one I was planning to pick regardless) and then I just pointed at a few of the pictures of the printout from the website
he gave me instructions for the love hotel's location, but when I was clearly clueless, he just walked me over himself.
I'll note that their standards with regards to "English proficiency" are pretty low - the girl I saw was marked as speaking English but I don't think she knew more than a handful of words.

The booking experience was also completely painless: i was a walk-in, so I just went up to the desk, a nice young Japanese man showed me the pictures of who was available, recommending one (the one I was planning to pick regardless) and then I just pointed at a few of the pictures of the printout from the website
he gave me instructions for the love hotel's location, but when I was clearly clueless, he just walked me over himself.
he gave me instructions for the love hotel's location, but when I was clearly clueless, he just walked me over himself.

Japan is unique in it's various offerings for mongers. Due much to the complex rules here and the loopholes the businesses use to stay above the law. While you can ignore most of the differentiation it helps to know some of the lingo.

It helps to know that full on paying for sex is technically illegal in Japan. But sex is only defined as intercourse. HJs, BJs, even Anal is entirely legal and options you can pay for. Extras beyond the law are usually offered and negotiated with each girl. You are negotiating with each girl not the shop

Soaplands
Like I've said elsewhere there are the gold star peak of Japanese shops. You technically are paying for a bath with a woman, the police have no control over if the girl falls in love with you and sleeps with you during the time you paid for. These are often the most expensive shops in Japan because everything is included. This is by far my favorite shop in Japan. The concentration of shops open to foreigners are in tokyo.

Flow of service:
You walk into a big building with a very private entrance. If you haven't already made a reservation and you should. The will be man or woman behind a counter with usually some photos to choose from. You pay at the counter and you should be whisked to a waiting room usually very old couches, a TV blaring, and an ashtray. Some places have private booths so you can wait. After that usually your girl will meet you usually in lingerie or whatever cosplay you desired.

You are taken to the play room, the bathroom as it were. You will be undressed and will be washed EVERYWHERE and to brush your teeth. Usually after that is mat play with extra fun.

Delivery Health
Sometimes called "Hotel Health".

This is by far the most common form of shop in Japan. Due to the low overhead, these are common in most ares in Japan. This is what is usually called outcall outside of Japan. You nominate a girl via usually the shops site and arrange a time and a place. You can have them "delivered" to your hotel, or we recommend finding a love hotel. These can be very convenient as you often don't have to venture far to enjoy delivery health.

Sometimes the shops will give you a discount if you go to a recommended Love Hotel or stay within an area. They often do charge a bit extra if the delivery location is far from their home base. My favorite shop operates out of Gotanda and usually they charge a few thousand yen if you are outside of that immediate area. They even have a a map of Love Hotel they prefer even offering to wave the delivery fee if you stay at x store.

We recommend Love Hotels if you are staying at a Business Hotel, like APA, Smile, Toyoko Inn, etc; they may not entirely be happy with inviting extra guests up and have been known to watch the guests coming and going. Some of the fancier hotels don't care. YMMV. But love hotels make for a convenient place as you wont be having fun on the bed you will be sleeping on.

Fashion Health
This is the older form of Delivery Health and there are not to many of these around anymore. Basically imagine a delivery health that also has a built in love hotel. A soapland without the matt play. I've been to one notable example in Sendai called VIP. They may not all be like VIP but VIP was dingy and filthy. Rusting mirrors, and I often heard sounds from the other room. This shop has two rooms and a shower.
So this comes up every so often in part due to a Reddit thread as “non-sexual” testicle massage. This is a unique thing that you can find in Japan (and in Thailand in some places) and it is indeed a non-sexual massage. Basically you get a regular massage first and then while laying on your back you do breathing exercises while they pull on your balls. They don’t touch the shaft, head, or use oil in many cases.

It’s legit painful at times as they’re stretching things that normally don’t get stretched. If you are one of those people that enjoys having weights hanging from your junk (CBT) you might enjoy this, else it’s honestly not something I recommend for the cost. There is no finish or happy ending.

The idea being that the massage increases your stamina and performance in other situations. As someone that tried this for a few months four years ago, I didn’t see any benefit but my pain tolerance went up. (You are supposed to go every two-three weeks regularly to see results.)

** This appears to be a trendy, new agey health treatment for older men to revitalize their cock. Many of the known shops post their schedules with sometimes very few gaps. To me this reminds me of a similar treatment offered in Singapore/Malasya as a half legit HEM service or a way to legally operate under the law. As this develops and more shops offer this it may turn more erotic in nature over time as is it is a legit medical treatment done by licensed practitioners. -Sus tyme

Japan Adult Video (JAV) is the general term for adult videos. Known for it's creativity and franky barrenness. JAV is has some unique genres that haven't caught on overseas. There are hundreds if not thousands of JAV Stars. Some only make one or two videos others go on to make hundreds. Most are not well known. But the competition is fierce and often they will turn to doing fan events and photos shoot for extra money between shoots.

Here are some tips:
* Ask via (X/Twitter/Instagram) DM, I do have connections in that space. Once again, I stress these are often (but not always) not cheap. If the star has a million followers+ on say instagram, I mean it's possible, but you likely cannot afford it.
* there are many ex or former JAV here, as like its just another job, so expect to see lots of places that advertise it.
** There are shops that either advertise former JAV stars or an JAV like experiance.
* There are some unique places that offer experiences with JAV, these are like photoshoots or walks in the park, or day dates with current stars. These are generally much cheaper
Studio Appsis a service (in Tokyo) that offers meetups with current popular JAV / social media / influencers / idols. There are two types of meetups, dating tests, which let you go outside the studio location for a defined period of time, and regular photo shoot meetups. Photo shoot meetups are basically held in apartment (1BR) that is rented for the purpose.

Each starlet / model / actress will get to choose what service that they are offering and for what price. You pay in advance and provide identity first. For the photo shoots on / in location, the actress generally offers a full nude option for photos to start and then potentially what you do on set is negotiable; this is very much YMMV. FS has not yet been on the table for when I've visited but more or less everything else was ok. I have not done a dating test outside of location though, simply no interest in any of the women offered at this time.

Now, it does give you an opportunity to chat with people directly in the JAV industry, and after a visit you can then request actresses from the operator and they will handle the heavy lifting of seeing if said actresses will do a meet and greet. They do have an email newsletter that you can sign up for, which will give you password to access private events and make reservations in advance.

They are foreigner friendly as long as you aren't a complete idiot. Be polite, don't ask stupid questions and they will help you out even if your Japanese is bad.Would I repeat? I've done it 2x and I'll try a dating test, but unless there is someone specific I need to see I'll probably pass.
